Jason was born and mostly raised in the Great Lake State (that would be Michigan). He graduated with a B.A. in Youth Ministries from North Central University in Minneapolis, where he met his wife Amy. After six years in youth ministry in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the Fiedlers moved to Oshkosh in 2007 to start Water City Church.

In 2006, Amy finished up her six year tour of duty as a kindergarten teacher to be home with their kids, Sophi, Lucy & Nolan.  She also balances the joys of family and ministry with her photography (http://www.amyfiedlerphotography.com)
